Health Center of Southeast Texas

The Story

The Health Center of Southeast Texas was undergoing renovations and an expansion, so a technology update in the conference rooms and training rooms was necessary. In addition, their smaller, satellite locations needed to be able to video conference without compromising too much square footage.

The Solution

We installed a conference system in the main facility that had an array of overhead dynamic microphones designed to automatically pick up the person speaking, regardless of where they are in the room.

This mic system was paired with overhead speakers and a motorized camera, allowing for the capture of any part of the room.

For the satellite locations, we created mobile conferencing carts to carry all the necessary webcasting equipment. Just by plugging the cart into the wall, the room is instantly set up for mobile conferencing. When conferencing is over, the carts are easily stored in a closet.

Products we used:

- Network infrastructure

- Large video conference room

- Mobile conferencing carts

- Voice lift

- Sound system

- Cameras

- Microphones

- Network configuration to support AV and phone systems

The mobile carts were fun for this project. Huddle space on the go. How do we make a conference system that can be used whenever? We don’t have a conference room, but we need to be able to video conference. How do we do that? Get a cart.
