Case Study: Microsoft Teams Signature Conference Room Transformation

New Technology, New Challenge

A local Houston company challenged us at Brightengale to install our first Microsoft Teams Signature Conference Room. This setup brings an extra collaboration layer to meeting spaces, complementing those already using Microsoft Teams. This is a step up from what we are used to – just when it seems like conferences cannot get more advanced, they do.

Merging the best of both worlds

The primary goal was to enhance collaboration and elevate the user experience within the Microsoft Teams Signature Conference Room. Unlike traditional setups with side-by-side displays, the vision was to incorporate a single, expansive widescreen for an immersive and seamless communication environment.

Integration of Microsoft Teams Signature Room

Getting the latest Microsoft Teams Signature tech up and running required a deep dive into the system to ensure everything clicks as expected. Even though we are familiar with a lot of the technology, using it in this new application and space had a learning curve.

This space was set up to comfortably fit six to eight people and needs to be around 25 feet wide by 14 feet deep. Now, here is the tricky part – we had to customize the AV and tech solutions to match exactly what the company needed for their day-to-day collaboration. And, we had to use Microsoft-approved products for the space.

Immersive Widescreen Installation

Our team came up with a full-on solution for this project. The star of the show? A 21:9, 108-inch ultrawide screen display that turned the conference room into a collaboration hotspot. That took diving into the world of a Microsoft Teams Signature experience and successfully integrating it into the existing setup. And because the company is one of a kind, we tweaked the AV and tech setup to match exactly what they needed.
