What is included?
SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE VISITS
Quarterly visits to clean, test, make minor repairs or adjustments, and answer any operational questions. Your plan manager schedules maintenance visits and sends you a recap of what was done. You will always know when to expect us and what we found while we were there.
QUICK RESPONSE TIME
If issues do arise between scheduled visits, we will dispatch a technician as quickly as possible. We typically respond the same or the next day and guarantee a technician onsite within two business days. Ongoing Maintenance customers also receive discounts on unscheduled services.
PEACE OF MIND
Know your systems are being professionally maintained and that you can call a friendly, familiar team anytime you need. You receive unlimited phone support during business hours. Never again depend on Google results to find help in a pinch.
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS
We don't outsource our technicians, so we can control scheduling and service quality at lower rates. Ongoing Maintenance customers receive non-program service labor discounts (10% for a 1-year plan / 15% for a 2-year plan), priority service, handling of manufacturer repairs, and help with new projects and upgrades.
COVERAGE
The preventative maintenance program includes quarterly visits. These are scheduled on an agreed-upon date at the beginning of the service term. Maintenance calls included in the program can be scheduled within a window of five days before and five days after the default date. If services are required outside of this window, they will be billed at the discounted Ongoing Maintenance rate. A typical Ongoing Maintenance visit is scheduled for two hours, however, this may change based on the scale or complexity of your system.
MAINTENANCE
Scheduled maintenance includes all manufacturer suggested maintenance including but not limited to:
Video Systems
Cleaning filters
Replacing lamps
Cleaning lenses
Cleaning any fan ports
Cleaning screens
Checking all cabling
Testing inputs and outputs
Cleaning racks and equipment
Software updates where applicable
Not included: Cost of new filters or lamps
Audio Systems
Testing inputs and outputs
Cleaning racks and equipment
Minor system tuning
Verification of speaker functionality
Software updates where applicable
Lighting Systems
Cleaning any fan ports
Verifying lamp/ LED Functionality
Minor lighting or DMX address changes
Testing inputs and outputs
Cleaning racks and equipment
Software updates where applicable
REPAIRS
Any repairs that can be completed during the scheduled visit are included in the agreement. Parts and materials are not included. Any repairs that can not be completed during the allotted Ongoing Maintenance visit will be billed at the outlined discounted labor rate.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
All Ongoing Maintenance customers receive unlimited phone support for the covered system during normal business hours. Onsite visits will be billed at the discounted Ongoing Maintenance rate.
WARRANTY REPAIRS
We will facilitate all warranty repairs including shipping and all communication with the manufacturer. Any shipping fees, repair fees, or replacement parts are not included in the Ongoing Maintenance and will be billed to the customer. Equipment removal and replacement during scheduled Ongoing Maintenance visits are included in the plan. Visits outside of the scheduled PMP date will be billed at the discounted Ongoing Maintenance labor rate. If the warranty repair work will leave the customer without equipment for longer than one week, Brightengale will make reasonable attempts to provide loaner equipment if it is available in our rental inventory.
