The Story
The Houston Police Department in Tactical Village needed programs to better control their system and provide virtual training experiences for law enforcement officers.
As it turned out, the products they were actively using were no longer supported by the manufacturer. And after reviewing the situation further, we realized those products would not even get the results they were looking for. A big, but simple, change was needed.
The solution
We swapped their control processor for a different product that was capable of meeting the officers’ needs. We also created a program that could play different sounds in different sectors and had the ability to be changed in real-time by the training officers.

“For their training program, the sound of the city needed to be recreated; A restaurant needed to sound like a restaurant. The officers in training had to be able to trigger any event at any time. In a way, we helped create a police theme park.”
