Appearance matters.
The aesthetics of a place makes a difference. With different cable types for various applications, making sure that all are hidden is a part of the job. Or is all the physical hardware suspending the wire is safe? Is it rated to hold the weight? When it comes to cable jackets and air handling spaces, we want to make sure that we use specific types of cabling. In case the building catches fire, these cables will not add to the problem.
