Case Study: Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church

The story

Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church, located in Bryan, Texas, has been a center of spiritual growth and community engagement for decades. Recognizing the importance of creating an immersive and engaging worship environment, as well as a need for the streaming experience for their congregation, Saint Andrew's recruited us to help out.

The challenge

It was time to update the existing lighting system at the church affecting the overall ambiance during worship services and events. The LED lighting in place was not enough to accommodate the additional video streaming requirements, leading to inadequate illumination for the camera recordings. The church had various light sources with inconsistent color temperatures, resulting in a rather incohesive atmosphere.

The solution

We replaced the existing lighting fixtures with high-quality LED lights strategically positioned to ensure even illumination throughout the church. This upgrade significantly improved the visual experience for both in-person attendees and those participating via live streams. The addition of more lighting facilitated optimal video recording for live streaming purposes.

We ensured a cohesive lighting environment by selecting light fixtures with consistent color temperatures. This brought harmony to the church's interior, creating just the right ambiance and beautiful illumination. Every upgrade is now conveniently auto-controlled through an app (in their case Luminair), which makes it a breeze to adjust remotely.

By installing the appropriate lighting for height perception, we created something that truly complements the church's height and design. Simple things make a big difference. This intentional lighting highlights the impressive architecture of the church, creating an atmosphere that lets the community enjoy this beautifully designed space.

Our customers do say it best:
